Well we saw.. And at worse Haney earned a draw. That 116-112 score was suspect af. I had Loma winning. And shook my head in disbelief when they gave it to Devin. Loma was just the better fighter overall. Faster, better foot work. Landed more. He was snapping Haneys head back. Bill Haney says he son won easily, and a rematch fight isn't needed

I scored it a draw. And scored it for Haney on a rewatch. But it wasnt clearly Loma anything man. Gotta remember boxing is round by round. And if you even go round by round by compubox it supports Haney winning. 116-112 isnt terrible....thats just 1 round off of what the actual punch stats were. So 1 judge could have quite literally seen 2 or 3 punches different. It was that kind of close fight. Loma had more punches landed because 2 or 3 of the rounds he landed a good amount more but that dont give you extra points man. Great fight though...both guys got to each other in the chess match As for them haneys saying they dont need to give a rematch, well Loma saying the same thing....said he won so he dont have to give them a rematch lolol. Best that both sides just move on.. maybe Loma can give Stevenson a shot. |

Loma tried to steal the fight and fell short. The judges didn't favor his flurries over Haney's consistency. Real close fight though, should be a rematch if they were bout that life. Haney is about to duck Shakur for sure now. |
