In GB thats a big fight. Sons of british boxing royalty. All true. But in pure boxing terms its meaningless. Drained MW vs blown up WW. Benn can't win this fight then get on the mic talmbout he just sent a message to Boots, Keef, Ortiz etc. He'll rightfully get laughed at.

Nah if Benn is trying to prove himself against a drained MW so be it, Eubank Jr isnt elite bit hes not a bum either, he can bang. It doesnt mean anything for divisions, but that cant be the one factor when making fights. It's still prize fighting, let these dudes make some bank off their daddies names. Also if Eubank Jr loses, it hurts his future prospects, if Benn loses he loses momentum albeit not much. But in the mean time they are both high end british fighters and thats enough to go out and make a good well paying fight.

I'll tune in for sure.

I don't like this fight. Benn has looked great recently but this is too early... Hearn's blinded by the $ signs as usual, feeding him to a fighter two weight classes above is how he destroyed Brook's career Vs GGG. Eubank makes 160 no bother, and they're only making him come down 3llbs to 157... should have had the sense to bring him down to 152 like Mayweather did to Canelo. Eubank isn't great but has a good chin, and should win this on size alone. If Benn bangs him out I will be shocked... will defo tune in though

Yeah, I just watched the presser and it was basically Eubank admitting that he wont be at his best, albeit saying that he'll walk through Benn regardless.

Anyway, I have no problem with this fight. At all. If those two internet boys can get fights fighting bums at times and get no complains....there is no reason why this fight between two professionals cant happen, idgaf about the weight.

I think its a great fight. Its not like Eubank was getting big fights, and 147 is a fucking mess with any big fights being a struggle to make.

Keef pussy ass aint fighting Benn, Danny pussy ass moved up, no one wanna fight Boots, Ortiz stuck on Golden Boy island. Crawford-Spence nearing close but its tied up at the top. It was either this or some bum like Lipinets being fed to Benn overseas.

Plus it will be a great event with great British nostalgia the whole way. Both daddies ringside. Cheerio mate'
