Prime and Ice, imma do a little series on the IPTV platforms im doing trials for. There are 6 that I narrowed down. Whats great about them is that you can get a free or 3 dollar trial version so you can see if you like it before you commit.

https://xtremehdiptv.org/ - trial paid - need cc, no mac address order #3428694786, Pretty good, functional Epg, decent menu, Xrates, also has a pretty cool multi screen option where you can load between 2 and 5 channels in reduced sized windows on your screen. Seems a bit buggy, but its something, imagine running this with multiple fights - 19000 channels

https://typhoonlabs.tv/ - free trail granted when first logging in to the app, has the channels, epg is so so, doesnt have the best viewable interface for a range of channels. Not buggy. Sample window doesnt work well. No multi screen function. Less Channels than xtremehdiptv

How do you like Typhoon??? I was doing trials of all the ones I listed above, Typhoon was one of them, I found it pretty good but xtremehdiptv was just a bit better. But yea, same, we running the test tonight in the drinks thread!

I was putting dishes up in the 2000s lol when the illegal FTA Satellite shit was poppin. When it started failing, FTA units that relied on IPTV to share the rotating codes became a thing and it morphed into what we have now.

For 80 a year, I like it so far. Just loaded the free trial for moms to see if she likes it, as long as I'm getting all the sports I'm good, at first I was afraid shit was lagging too much but the performance has been cool. The navigation isn't the greatest, but like I said I live in the mlb and nba pass sections along with the ppg, so I fuck with it. If it lasts for 6 months I more than get my moneys worth, and I have that shit loaded in 4 tvs and my mobile, so I don't miss shit when I'm taking a shit. :smile81:

I was getting a lot of freezing here and there, but that multi window feature let me load every feed, so as soon as one froze I just selected the other. In the end I didnt watch it on the firestick though, I figured out that my PC runs the IPTV app faster than the firestick and its more stable. So I have it on both and I'll use the firestick when I'm away from home. Still love the shit out of that firestick though...that shit is much better than lugging around a laptop or some other shit, take the 19000 channels anywhere! Can't lose!

Yea, the great thing is the ppv is usually on about 3 or 4 different channels, so you can always switch to the next if one is being a bitch. I watched the first 2 fights on the ESPN Mexico channel, then I got some lagging during the down time before the Cruz-Gamboa fight, so I switched to the Showtime feed, which there was actually 2 different ones, and it was smooth sailing from there. Didn't miss a single punch all night. Then after the ppv, on to the movie section for some Old School. :smile81:

I'm a horrible pirate :kopfpatsch: i paid that $74.99.

But i enjoyed in super HD, and watched it a second time already since I recorded it. I will try this for the next couple of fights.

I am a little concerned that you said it was lagging on some feeds. Any further description of that?

I streamed the ppv on my laptop on a shady site I always use. It wasnt the SHO announcers, but these announcers were even better anyway, and I only had like 2 hiccups.

Still, I am intrigued at the 14.99/mo option. Especially for my parents. I pay for DAZN for my Dad and I and he said he was disgusted when I told him at easter dinner tonight that Canelo vs Bivol is 60 extra dollars. He said fuck it he isnt even going to split that.

I wish I could set them up with this without fear of punishment. I know there is a degree of irrationality to that fear. I cant shake it though.
