there were some weird ones back in the day. obviously hindsight is a useful tool in this excercise. But i recall guys like Juan Diaz, Nate Campbell, Steve Cunningham, Ricky Hatton, and probably the most polarizing, Wlad Klit. safe to say none of those guys were ever truly P4P top 10 type of guys, yet i recall seeing them on there at one point.

Yeah, we all fall victim to the "what have you done for me lately" shit. PLus meia hype is always going to carry boys like Hatton

i remember Cristian Mijares being on these lists at certain points. completely overrated fighter. got hyped up from the "you dont respect the little guys" crowd.

good list. Guerrero i believe entered alot of top 10 lists after beating Berto. that was actually a great fight. as was Berto-Ortiz. but none of these men were ever truly great fighters. certainly not P4P guys.

i know Ice wouldve lit this thread up blasting JMM and Sergio Martinez if he could actually find his balls and come back to BHO.

Carlos Maussa was that dude too. motherfucker was hardcore. one of my favorite fights of all time was his fight against Vivian Harris. i vaguely recall it being a PPV undercard, i could be wrong. but holy shit was that an entertaining fight.

I guess it depends on how big anyone's individual P4P list is but at least some of those guys would qualify in recent years. The worst one would obviously be Maussa after he beat Vivian Harris in 2005 but it was a legitimate big win at the time. I'm not sure if Maussa made anyone's list per se because I honestly can't remember back that far but I know how shocked people were that it happened. A few other guys that come to mind are Michael Katsidis, Juan Diaz, and Brandon Rios.

did my boy Kat actually grace any P4P lists?? i don't recall. he was definitely the #1 must see fighter for a particular period of time. I'll never forget losing my shit when he floored JMM.

Well, I am not just talking about BHO. I'm thinking about other boards as well. If fucking Nazty had backed up the fucking server we wouldn't have to wonder about this shit at all because we could just go back and look!!!!
