As you all may or may not know, your boy Big Ice is gonna be competing on the Youtube fight league, Streetbeefs. Just for the fuck of it. Just to challenge myself and show my sons not to be afraid to lace em up or throw them hands.

It’s about a week away. I don’t know who I’m fighting but i have an idea, and kind of narrowed it down to three. Luckily for me they fight kind of similar or have similar traits. Strong right hands, really just dependent on landing a heavy right to the dome.

Im 6’2 and a half lol 215 pounds. My reach is about 78 or 79’ last time that i checked.

Just a little insight as to my training. Every other day I ride a bike 14 miles, its a tough road with hills.

Than later those days i do 12 , five minute rounds, alternating between my three bag. The aqua bag, standard heavy bag, and double end bag.

The last week i have been doing all of my training with a mouthpiece in. To up my stamina and get accustomed to breathing with the mouthpiece in. It’s hard as fuck on those hills on the bike.


Days in between i jump rope, and shadow box with resistance bands on, then do a strength routine like pushups and pullups, dips and ab work, or Yoga.

I haven’t been able to get in a gym or spar, dudes are flaky as fuck and gyms are wack out here but Tuesday i should get some light/technique sparring in. And i will try for Wednesday too.

Alot of these guys do MMA and just try their hand at Boxing, assuming (ignorantly) that because Boxing is all punching, they can come in and do work cause they are varied in their attack. But its like a jacknof all trades, master of none thing.

I can’t see myself losing to someone who really doesn’t know boxing or doesnt box.

It’s disrespectful that slot lf these fools think like that. I respect MMA to where i would never try it. Unless I really and truly dedicated myself to it. Not just because I incorporate it in what i do from time to time.

Just get through that 1st round. I've seen some spaz shows and the better man just terrorized by the only good 1min the worse man had. The better boxer tried to be pretty while the other dude came out like a demon. It was ugly, but the demon won.

Yep, I’ve been looking forward to this. I’m not 100%, but, I was YouTubing street beefs boxing and there is a match with a guy named Wero vs Punchline. I can’t remember what Ice looked like from the Jeopardy show, but, I think that is him.

Remember, this dude had the balls to do this no matter what if that’s him.

In hindsight that streetbeefs stuff probably aint a joke. I personally wouldnt get on it unless I was at my best, training hours everyday and shit, because you have no idea how hard dudes is going to ready up, tryna get a berth in boxing through diff means. I hope Ice was in shape.

SB has better fighters than it ever did and its getting better.
Here is the thing with it...it's a super sprint and boxing doesn't win.
Aggression and backing a guy up on the wall/cage just about wins every time.
ITs ugly...ain't pretty...ain't a sweet science.
Pro boxers would have a hard time with the short time format and ring size.
to win...you can't be pretty because there isn't enough time.

And I'm going to say something else I've talked about too but be more blunt.
Boxing is at a stage like Kung Fu and Karate was in the 70's.
Is it real or not. It's just like fencing and hardly anybody knows wtf is happening in those matches. Boxing has too much ref guidance and its not consistent...bad judging...corrupt as fuck...too limited....commission and promotor protected...squash matches...etc etc. The road to success is a protected path with people who do the same dance...not fighting.

And if that was Ice...oh well...he learned something hard. Punchline makes sense to be him. I told him he can't be pretty but that dude (maybe Ice) wanted to dance with an agreeable foe. Ice was in an uphill battle as soon as he said he lacked sparring.

He still gets credit for doing it. Nothing to be ashamed of trying and coming up short. Took balls.

Ice came to box, Wero came to fight. so lack of experience and strategy definitely conspired against Ice. and im sure nerves were a factor. Ya, I just saw it. Man, tough break. Ya Idk how much training Ice did but these streetbeef dudes probably been in some street fights recent, and probably in some gyms sparring with muthafuckas. But I think Ice knew what was getting into and just wanted the experience. Respects regardless. I probably wouldnt even do it...especially knowing that shit going on youtube.
