We need a recount on Garcia. How can he be pinklisted, his last two opponents are Guerrero and Peterson, thats not bad. Guys like Thurman and Spence can fight 42 year olds and not get nominated? Most haymon fighters are gonna make this list, so are they the problem? Like AB, no way he should be pinklisted. Nay. He moved up 4 weight divisions faster than anybody. Maidana was almost three years ago. Shawn Porter 17 months ago. It's been a long time, and AB has been About Bitchness, before, after, and everywhere else inbetween. The four weight divisions saw him pick up belts against: Vicente Martin Rodriguez: Vacant. He's beaten nobody of consequence since, and recently got knocked out by a guy with 19 losses. Antonio DeMarco: Probably the best belt holder he beat, and DeMarco is the definition of mediocre. Paulie Malignaggi: The 4th best beltholder in the division, who shouldn't have even still been champion, getting a controversial split decision win of Pablo Cesar Cano, in his previous fight, while every single one of his Showtime co-workers scored the fight for Cano. Khabib Allakhverdiev: Another vacant title, and this time against somebody who failed to win the vacant title in his previous fight (losing to your boy Jessie Vargas). He somehow got another shot at the same title, against Broner, who was also coming off a loss. Not all achievements are treated equally, and Broner's four divisions, is mostly a product of Al Haymon, finding him patsies to go against for vacant belts, or place holder beltholders, where the clock is ticking. |

Since his actual resume is shit, a sparring encounter with Adrien Broner, might be his biggest claim to fame, but nobody knows better than BHO that Adrien Broner absolutely sucks, and this should not be weighted heavily in assessment. Plus, "Gym Warriors" usually suck, anyway, as if they accomplished anything of note in front of a camera, nobody would give a shit if they bettered some stripper pussy eater in front 17 disinterested sycophants. Patience might be preached when it comes to Spence, but he's a few months away from entering his fifth year as a pro, and this motherfucker is already talking like he's a hall of famer. I'd like to nominate Arthur Abraham. Dude manned up and competed in the Super 6, then after a few tough outings he disappears overseas, content on fighting overseas bums the rest of his career. I think he recently wrapped up a 4 fight series against a guy who got KOd by Librado Andrade. |
