this is such a mismatch and waste of time. Diaz is getting slaughtered.

Yea Corn Time does give one the impression he is destined for bigger and better things. Very talented, good fighter, maybe we should hope for a shitty performance so maybe some of these guys will fight him.

We do realize I hope Thurman is untested. Karass is no big deal. Chaves who knows but I expect him to fade to obscurity. THurman seems to have some good tools but his legs are lazy and Karass tagged him way too much. Dude can punch though and as long as they feed him guppies like Diaz he is good. LIke so many to these dude they need to get on with it.

Thurman needs another power showcase to build his rep. I don't mind the fight at all, especially considering Diaz has recently given Porter and Khan trouble. This won't last long, though.

The chances of Diaz winning is as close to zero as I can imagine. It would be like watching a rerun. I know what is going to happen.

Both fights this weekend are going to be total beatdowns.

I'm wondering if Corn Time can put himself in the September Mayweather sweepstakes with the dominating KO he's sure to get this weekend. It's certainly better than the Khan-Collazo winner.

I don't know if he is or not. Thurman pulls his chin out straight back and is going to get buzzed if he doesn't stop it. He needs a real opponent like a top 10 guy.

Sounds like some top 10 guys don't want him. I'm not pointing a finger at Porter because fighting Brook is admirable and necessary. But I don't see Guerrero, Khan, JMM or Bradley wanting anything to do with him right now. And of course Broner got his ass beat down to 140.

Speaking of Guerrero. Does Al have him a guppie lined up. I suspect he doesn't yet want to be found out to be the C+ fighter he is.

One Time has been ''passed over'' by Maidana, Guerrero, and Porter. Porter can hide behind that lame ass belt excuse, as if anyone even gives a shit about belts anymore, its not like a Brook fight is going to break box office records because sorry ass Brook somehow has a belt even though he's beaten no one. Guerrero rather fight literally no one instead of fighting One Time. Maidana has gone on to bigger and better things so no issues there. Callazo mentioned One Time but settled for the easier road of Ortiz and Khan in order to keep his ''Floyd at the Barclays'' pipe dream alive. Maybe Lucas wants some.

I disagree on both counts. after getting hit a little to much early against both Chaves and Karass, he went on to dominate offensively and not get hit nearly as much because he used his legs and didn't just stand and trade. both those guys couldn't do shit once One Time moved around and boxed.

No point in mentioning Maidana if you go on to admit he moved on to bigger and better. Same with Porter to a lesser extent. Brook is highly rated (albeit protected), and it will likely end up on the Canelo-Lara PPV, which would already make that card pretty damn good. But there is absolutely no excuse for Guerrero other than he's a pussy who's still enjoying his last paycheck.

Come on Band, highly rated by who?? Brook aint shit, he isn't known by anybody, he isn't a huge draw, and we'll see about that fight being on PPV. But Brook aint exactly bigger and better things, like even Broner is, let alone Floyd. Boxing pundits would be more excited over One Time vs Porter, 2 undefeated good looking American fighters. with a little trash talk you could sell the shit out of that fight.

I'd rather Porter and Thurman wait a little bit and clean up some more trash. Really aint no rush.

I don't like that wait and see approach, as to build a fight. Too many times we see one of the two get derailed or sidelined by inactivity and poof there goes the fight. I'd rather then get it on sooner than later

Yes. I can't see why these guys should be babied along. You see these guys now fight outside the top 20 all year long and then cherry pick an top 10 to try and get a #1 fight. Or, beat down a guys clearly on the decline who are still fighting contender so its the illusion they are still legit despite mounting "Ls". These guys in the top 10 should be eating each other up. Then you got someone like Robert Guerrero come up from lightweight and barely fight at welter to land the big lottery with Floyd. I still will never understand how anyone thought the fight was legit or how RG deserved the fight. Aydin? Berto? wtf he know Berto now.

Point is the hype and appearance might be fun but its fake like padded muscles. Lord knows they should get on with it before they get arrested for some kind of malcontent behavior. :o :D
