After that Paulie beatdown, I give Porter a pass for the next year, or so. But he did duck One Time. I don't hold it against him, because he fought a easy, big money fight, in Paulie instead. And now, because of Paulie's super inflated reputation, he's more known than ever. It was a smart play and if he fights One Time a year from now, like I think he will, it'll be no harm, no foul. But, One Time called him out, and Porter's fighting people that aren't as good. It's hard to say it's anything else. I think it'll right itself in the near future, though.

how much better are his wins anyhow?? Chaves and Karass don't have the same name value but are probably, realistically, better and tougher wins than Paulie is, who got fucked up bad for like the 6th time in his career by Porter. That other Euro, Zaveck I think, and Q, might be on par with Paulie. It took Porter 2 fights to prove he could beat Diaz, it'll take One Time a few rds. So Porter has the great Alexander over One Time. not that any of this jibberish has anything to do with the fact that Porter doesn't want any of One Time.

I am learning no fighter has to do what we want. Yea..I slow. It affects their fanbase and perception of them as a fighter for good or bad. There are tons of options at welterweight and what is so amazing is that most of the boxers in the top 10 don't care shit to find tough fights...it seems anyway. Then you have 2 of the best top 3 guys face off and they get called "amateurish". Well...that what happens when people have tough opponents. Thurman should really step up after this weekend.
