With their 24 news ability they could "hype" whatever they want and make 24/7 look like what it is---30 min. I see no reason we can't have a regular weekday night before Fri for boxing. They got the staff. Lets go.

ESPN could do a lot of things. They seem to prefer to absolutely suck.
I've always thought that the Sunday after the Superbowl should be a destination for somebody to put something really big together. Everybody is depressed that there is nothing to watch anymore, so you promote whatever it is as the thing to watch after football season. If ESPN put together a legitimately kickass boxing card the Sunday afternoon after the Superbowl, people would watch it. And that could launch it's Sunday afternoon boxing "season," which would end in the fall. I think one big card a month would be better than mediocre ones every week. They could promote is at something a little more special, and save their budget for quality over quantity.

It's fighting, it's adrenaline, and even though no one watches it, very few young alpha males will admit to actually not liking it. I blame the promoters I guess. And Bob Arum. Idc what you say Arum is the worst.
