Good strat I'd say.
It could subdue Maidana with a couple of good shots.
Maidana didn't fair well when Khan popped hiim but he still came back.
I think the main key will just be to make Maidana miss like FLoyd always does.
Before you know it, Maidana will be confused and it will be the 5th round.
Maidana will think, "Thank you for standing still finally."
THen Floyd will pop him in the nose with a one two and move away.
Maidana is going to be exhausted after the fight.

It would be odd to see Floyd drop someone with a body shot. But this might work. Maidana has a solid chin. Going to the body is the best thing to do to him since he likes to stand throwing bombs.

I dont think he will stand with him right away.
But FLoyd better be careful.
Maidana throws some weird stuff from all over the place.
Those punches that fucked Broner up weren't normal punches.
Floyd is a master at moving his torso to move back at an angle, but go too straight back he might get clipped.
Lots of good stuff coming.

Seems like everyone says they're going to work the body pre-fight...few actually follow through. I'm sure he'll land some body jabs like he does every fight. But I doubt we're going to see some abnormal focus from Floyd on body punching. That's not who he is.

No they won't. That will leave Floyd open to Maidana's overhand right. I guarantee you they do not go to the body with any kind of consistency. Floyd never punches to the body much anymore.
