I was a FNF diehard for years in my youth. Between that and the odd HBO or SHO fight, I saw plenty of womens boxing.

The thing is, even the female champions, fucking STUNK. They were so sloppy with their technique it was hard to watch. There was a stark contrast in skill between the men and females. Not speed, not power, purely boxing skills, they fucking stunk.

Imagine my surprise when UFC started shoving women's fights down my throat, and these chicks had real fucking skill! Of course it has gotten better since, and everyone will downplay it now, but the ferocity and skill of Rhonda in her prime was something to behold. A judo arm-collector turned into a puncher. It was great.

And now? Chicks like Shevchenko and Nunes? In the skills department, there is hardly a gap at all.

Idk what the gap there between the sports is and I never will.

Maybe women's boxing has closed the gap with these Serrano's and Taylor's, I dont know.

I do know the elite of women's boxing was absolute shiiiiit in the Christy Martin/Leila Ali era. They fucking STUNK.

Serrano must frequent here in secret man, she has requested and challenged Taylor to a 12 round 3 minute per round fight for the titles
