Apparently Teos antics were much worse lol. He been going around calling Haney the email champion, but it just came out that he emailed the WBC to make him the franchise champion so he wouldn't have to fight Haney, and was awarded this. The franchise title is awarded by the WBC to the title holder to get around forcing him into fighting his mandatory. The actual belt can be given to the mandatory in a fight for the vacant belt. They did this with Loma prior to the Teo fight so Loma could step around Haney, but then Loma lost.

And the heres the worst part, Teo and Espn then took this fake title and spun the block telling everyone that they were the undisputed champion, already being in possession of the IBF-WBA-WBO Belts. Espn of course was in bed with TR so they participated. Teo even showed up at some Canelo press event with all his belts and was flashing them and calling himself undisputed, but then Canelo himself called him on not being truly undisputed and needing to fight Haney to achieve it. But that wasnt the end of it, Josh Taylor punked him for the stunt, Spence did as well, And espn started getting punked too. Showtime just before that listed the 6 undisputed champs of the modern era, no Teo, which irked him and he responded by saying Showtime was hating on him and that he'll never do any business with them for it, lmao. Espn then corrected themselves and started boasting Haney as the legit WBC title holder.

Teo then caved after being ran up on by Haney a few times and promised Bill and Devin a undisputed title match after Kambosos his mandatory, and Haney beats Diaz. But then recently he was vocal about being done after Kambosos and fighting Josh Taylor for his undisputed crown at 140, probably because Josh Taylor called him a bitch. During this whole time Haney was telling everyone all this shit saying Teo is fucking crazy and delusional and smelling himself and was doing everything in his power not to fight him, while Bill Haney was saying the same shit about Teo's Daddy, who was shaking pom poms doing his best Angel Garcia impersonation thru all of this. Only for Smooth George to give him the work saturday, leading to Lopez imploding in the post ring interview, declaring that he won the fight when so far no fan/media/fighter quite literally has given him even a draw score card except for one of the judges and BHO's own Austin...who was inebriated at the time, and then skipping the post fight presser on some Adrien Broner shit. This fake BK dude shit all over Wilder for his excuse making with Fury, only to come up with a bunch of his own.

And I say fake BK because part of his little fabrication is how he's from Brooklyn, even droppin the N word a few times which raised some questions and irked some. You're right, the WBC is full of shit and they are the reason for all of this, but not for the reasons you'd like to believe. Loma was going to vacated that belt because he didnt wanna fight Haney..a few months after taking it off of Campbell. They then made the franchise belt to keep their paws in Loma, and the belt was never meant to change hands in a fight. The irony is the origin of the belt was from Canelo, who didnt wanna fight Jermall Charlo so the WBC obliged and made this fake title.

And then he vacated it about two months later, and was “elevated” to “WBC franchise champion” status — a recently made-up designation that the WBC have created for popular fighters they don’t wish to overly burden with things like mandatory challengers.

Canelo Alvarez was the first to be given the status, with the WBC naming him “franchise champion” at middleweight so that Canelo wouldn’t have to be ordered to fight Jermall Charlo.

Lomachenko’s “elevation” meant he didn’t have to fight Devin Haney or risk forfeiting his belt if he did not. Charlo is now recognized as the “WBC world champion” at 160, and Haney the same at 135.

The idea was also originally that “franchise” titles couldn’t be contested in the ring. But perhaps fearing they might not make any money off of Lomachenko-Lopez, the WBC recently changed their mind on that.

He dont deserve no rematch lol. Wasnt a rematch clause. Showed no dignity class grace or humility in the post fight interview. And when he had the chance to give an established a rematch after a tough fight, he aint do it.
